Reality show information

I mentioned this on facebook but wanted to follow up here.
Our class may have an opportunity to be on 'High School Reunion' which is a TV LAND reality show about, you guessed it, high school students being brought back together.

I've received both positive and negative feedback about this. On the one hand, it may be cool to go away for a while with old class mates to reconnect and reminisce. However, since obviously they want people to watch the show there has to be some kind of drama to make it fly, right?

I've just watched an episode online, they post full episodes at tvland.com. So, from what I can tell there they are looking for some kind of drama to draw viewers to the show. We have to ask ourselves if we want to be a part of that. I'm not slamming the idea, but I want to properly reflect the concerns of some of our classmates that have already sent me some messages.

What drama do you have that you may or may not want shared with their viewing audience? I'm sure the producers would dig to find something.

Even if we are interested, that only means we need to fill out applications - I have not filled one out (I'm not sure I will) so I can't comment on what they ask. Filling out the applications is one step in showing how much interest there is in our class. Heidi has been talking to the casting director so after our meeting next week, I'll post some more information.

I would just suggest this - before you fill out the application - watch all or part of one of the episodes, do your research and then decide what risks you want to take to be on TV.
